Rylee's Testing for Purple belt

Rylee is testing for his purple belt for Kajukenbo. Shane couldn't go so myself and Shane's mom went down to watch Rylee. He has a series of things that he has to say and do before he passes. He was the one to score a point which is where he has his legs wrapped around the other boy, he was the only one is his class to score that so way to go Rylee. The parents have to present the belt to the students and the student has to rip the belt away from mom or dad because this is something that they have really had to work for, but Rylee didn't rip the belt out of mom's hands, so I had to tell him to take it like he wants it. Then all the students have to greet and shake each parents and Sigung's hands (teacher). After that they have a pot luck and eveyone hangs out and chats. It is such an awesome experience for Rylee, I have really seen a change in him, he has more confidence and self control. We are all very proud of him!
